TPC Takes Time Out for Pastor Appreciation

During a very moving Thanksgiving service by Senior Pastor Alan DeSilva and the TPC Sanctuary Choir, directed by Anwar Ottley, the church, led by Head Elder Joel Bullard, took time to show their gratitude toward the pastoral staff and their right hands, their wives. 

Pastor Alan DeSilva and wife Nirmala, Pastor Fred Warfield and his wife Lindzie, and Pastor Jeff Taylor and his wife Dawn, were honored in a brief ceremony during which Linda Simon read a lovely poem and Shirley Calliste shared stirring recollections of the Pastors’ many kindnesses.  Awards and flowers were also presented by Vickie Keita. Pastor DeSilva followed with a stirring sermon on the characteristics of the truly grateful, in the course of which many gave heartfelt testimonies about the reasons for their thankfulness.

We cannot forget to mention the baptism of 13 yr old Sena Geleta who was joyfully welcomed as a new child in Christ.
